I have a 2.4 TD SSR G, 1992, just purchased it, and noticed that in this cold weather the pre heat time is very short, only 2 to 3 seconds, the car starts alright, if you keep the engine turning over for 5 or 6 seconds, so I think the glo plugs are ok, is this short pre heat normal, if not is it adjustable or indicitive of a fault with the pre heat relay/ sensor?
