Hi Mate, got em on, afew pics attached, Not sure if i prefer them with or without the grills, Bit of a sod to get the looms through into the engine bay,
I'ts like threading a stiff hosepipe, Worst of all though was the supposed
easy bit, Putting the plastic grills on, they are bl00dy tight, wireing should have enough protection, Each side has 3 x 3 strands with heat shrink sleveing
(doubled on the soldered joints) with a outer caseing of spiral wrap, Cant wait to get the bits to finish it off,
I'll check out Pops posts, Think i would prefer to do it using the four relay way
(i've gon relay mad), You wouldent believe the ammount of printing i've done
latley, Must have an acre of rain forest on my desk! Regards Ian

Flippin' eck! Eat more carrots if you can't see in the dark, it's cheaper!

They do look well smart though.

Nah, just get one of them wind turbines and a mag mount for the roof of your truck. Don't forget to take it off before you drive into the garage though.

So! Roof lights, Train air horns, and a wind turbine on top! Think i'll need a

Hi Dave= HELP!, Its all going wrong, I've attached some pics if it helps, The drawing is how i've done it, I'll start with testing=
Red/yellow wire, Pos + to probe, clip to wire= test light on throughout range
of light stalk switch inc off, Conclusion - this is an earth?
Red/yellow wire, Clip to earth, probe to wire= No test light at all- (earth?),

Red/green wire, Pos to probe, clip to wire= Test light on all except when
                    hi beam is switched on,
Red/green wire, Clip to earth, probe to wire= Test light only on when hi beam
is switched on, Conclusion- This is live (on hi beam) and earthed on other
                    positions?,
SO this happens when connected to Red/green-
Switch on hi beam (stalk) and hi beams come on as normal but no dash
                    warning light,
Switch No1 (spots) on and one pair spots come on but no switch indicator
                    light and no dash light,
Switch No2 on and second pair spots come on, still no switch or dash light
Switch No3 on and both pair spots go out but all three switch and dash lights
come on, Also with these switches (or any one of em) on all spots stay on
                    with side lights,

This happens when connected to Red/yellow,
Switch hi beam on- hi beams on as normal plus dash light is on,
Switch No1 on and one pair spots come on,
                    " " 2 on and second pair " "
                    " " 3 on and third pair " "
But no switch indicator lights and spots stay on with side lights,
A pic of the back of the switches didn't come out but as there the same as yours you know what they look like, i've looped the wire from Red/yellow or
Red/green to the centre switch terminals, Then taken wires from the top
(switched) terminal to the three relays, I've then looped an earth wire to all the bottom (earth) terminals and through to the chassi, Just thought prehaps
i should have connected each of these to the top terminal? Looking at the switches were only dealing with the three red ones, From right to left they
are 1 (green) led angel eyes,
                    2 (red ) pair spots
                    3 " " "
                    4 " " "
                    5&6 roof lights (later)
                    7 fog lights (later)
Supply for relays is from the conn between o/s battery and fuse box, Which
is live with the side lights, this also supplys No1 switch (leds) and is through
a 5amp fuse (till i get a three amp), The rest you can probably see from the
                    pics,
Hoping you can see something i cant, Perhaps i'm pos switched after all?
Short of dumping the hi beam idea and wireing em the normal way i cant see
whats wrong, I've been Łucking around with it for two days now and am
close to doing a basil fawlty to the sonofabithcing thing, Just before i threw
in the towel for the day one of the leds has packed up as well Grrrrrr,
Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have, Regards Ian

The scanned pic of drawing wont post so heres a photo of it, Hope you can
                      make it out. Ian
Whoops! You'll notice my first big Łuck up, Took this pic yesterday before i
realised, As you can see i looped the switched side of the switches as well and ran one wire to the relays and looped them as well (wondered why all
the spots came on whichever switch was used ) i've since changed that and
run three wires, apart from that the scanned drawing is the same, Pity it
                      would'nt load.

                        Ian
send us all your lights and bits, i will sort them out for you and i will install them onto my truck for testing. then i will return them to you in ...................lets say a couple of years(fully tested)

sounds like you got your negative applied switching mixed up with pos applied switching, i cannt understand why somethings use neg applied and outhers use pos applied
intruder alarms usually are negative applied to make a circuit ie 12v possitive is to the point at all times
confuses me when you haveto add to a system
                        good luck
