3.0td into vitara project - wiring help

I'm putting a surf 3.0td into a vit running hilux axles on 35's, I have a couple questions with regards to the electrics.

I have the complete surf to use parts etc

can I cut the wiring loom of the headlights etc and connect up the pos and neg to the batterie and that be enough for the electric fuel pump and ecu to run?

also are they immobilised on the keys?

and what wiring do I need for the auto gearbox?

dont think anyone has done this yet buddy, if you were putting the vitara engine in a surf u may get more help?

don't think so, depends what year maybe

That will be one quick vitara when finished.

Would be much easier to use an injection pump from a UK 4 Runner!!

Did Suzota, Tony Bennett have a surf engine in his 5 door vitara.

Definitely had Surf axles.

Last time I visited Tony, he was fitting a jag engine & autobox into the vitara.

That was just before he "retired" & sold his workshop

Sorry for slow response!!

Yes the UK version used a one wire mechanical pump IE non "EFI"
Engine and timing gear is identical!!
