If it goes half as good as it looks the owner will have loads of fun.
Very nice work again Vince.
Thanks Brian.
Got to sort the fuel system out next, this engine doesn't have a return line back to the tank, so I've got to somehow plumb in an adjustable pressure regulator.
ps I like the way you've colour coded the dome headed nuts
with the alternator, nice touch, that fuel regulators the wrong
colour though.
Yes, first VVTi, first manual gearbox. This engine is the same dimensions as the 4.7 Landcruiser V8, so if this one fits.................
I'll colour the regulator to match later, couldn't get a matching one. I was just working out where/how to mount it. The A/C compressor (not fitted) is also purple to balance out the look.
Don't get me started.. you probably know but bullet do a 2uz manifold (it fits) that allows to keep vvti, has a built in intercooler and has an adaptor for M90, M112 or their HTV1900 blowers.
That bellhousing kit is that? When we did the supra V8 one we used the castlemain hotrods kit, but Thor offer one now too (random trivial the first Thor manual V8 supra used the gearbox out of my old car lol)
The Castlemaine kit was good, but made a clatter when the starter teeth meshed with the flywheel.
