    Sorry to hear you're having troubles.... worth pressure testing the rad and changing the cap anyway. Ive had mysterious coolant loss due to cap seal going and coolant not being drawn back on cool down, and also from the rad itself cracking along seams giving the same issue (got that soldered).

    PS been following your blog for ages, very inspiring. Also think my fiance and you guys have some mutual friends - Mark Smith and Anna Kinersley?

      Hi Boma. We had the same problem early on with the rad cap, I replaced the rad, the one I put in had the rad cap at 90 degree angle so it was pushed down at a angle when we closed the bonnet. It didn't seal properly and we lost coolant. Took ages to suss out what it was, as when the bonnet was open the rad sealed properly. Mark is my brother BTW. Small world (or not as we've discovered trying to drive around it).
