The engine oil cooler is what the oil filter screws into on the 2.4.

It is known for the seal to fail between the oil cooler and the cooling system on 2.4 letting the oil and coolant mix together.

But I notice you have posted in the 3.0 section , so is it a 2.4 or 3.0 ?

Is there no servicing period or servicing necessity for this item?

ON A SIDE NOTE:

about the oil pump, that is a moving part, correct.
Is it made not to be serviced at all?
Does the oil-pump need servicing after several years of use or only when there truly is a problem in the engine that also is affecting the oil-pump?

By the way, im looking for a KZ engine or a KD(does a KD fit?)engine to swap into my surf 2nd gen wide body(winterpack). Got any info?

Remember you can use the 3L head and 3L radiator to swap to your 2L or was it a 3L you already have?
Better yet shop for a 4chamber/4tube radiator. or a hi-perf one.
