I changed the water pump and thermostat today

Hmmmm jiggle pin?
I saw it but didn't see where it was before bolting everything up.....
I'll assume it's an air bleed aid and as mine has seemed to have bleed ok I must have got it about right.
I'm effed if I'm going to take it out to check!
