As per the title, I was just wondering what can be done to avoided the dreaded head problem?
My 3L V6 died last year and rather than fix it, I just sold it as a non runner. After nearly 12 months driving a horrible little Honda Civic, I'm in the market to buy another Surf. This time I want a 3L diesel, but I'm scared of the same thing happening.
Someone told me replacing the extractors(?) can help, as it takes the heat away from the head quicker... I'm guessing extractors is a fancy word for exhaust manifold, but I'm not sure :P
