have you checked it's not just the pads that need replacing?

bearings usually make a humming/whirring noise that increases with speed and gets worse on cornering.

You need Rear Seal, 2x bearings (inner and outer) and sometimes the lock washer for the adjusting nuts, depends how many times its been used before.

Give Roughtrax a ring, they'll sort out everything you need.

(and Marky, the 3.0 has an alloy head )

Glad you said that, i was begining to wonder just what the hell I had fitted - can you tell, are the 3.0l heads that roughtrax sells the stevo type? I know they are not ment to crack but my old one did and have concerns about the replacement
              Ta!
Did I mention I have a BLUE one

It doesn't matter, the 3.0 arn't subject to the problems the 2.4 had, no one makes anythnig other than a 'normal' 3.0 head.

You were just unlucky, there is a chance any head will crack/warp (alloy heads normally warp and the gasket leaks) if an engine overheats, just with the original 2.4 its virtually garrenteed.
