Dear Andy, Crimp on connectors look even neater and more reliable, Scotch locks seem vulnerable to water ingress which causes electrolytic action between the cables and the connector.

Took it to a Diesel Specialist who claimed it had to be reconditioned, costing 1200 - I am SURE that I could have bought a new pump for that.

dont kid yourself! when my Surf got screwed up the Jet garage said they would pay for new injectors and fuel pump until I gave them the quote from Toyota.... £2300!!!
