flywheel problem on 3.0td ssrg

95 ssrg 3.0td manual kzn130 lost drive on vehicle thought release bearing collapsed or centre of clutch plate had broken up, removed gearbox nightmare, found nothing wrong with clutch, checked gearbox ok. removed flywheel sounds like some ones put a packet of tic tacs inside it(springs broke)fell over wen told how much replacement was.so do's any one know if u can convert a spring loaded flywheel to solid flywheel. milner sells solid flywheels with longer bolts & different clutch, but need to no if any one else as converted one & do's it run ok : thanks

I've had my DMF replaced with a solid flywheel, you need the flywheel, the apropriate clutch kit and new bolts -Milners do a "kit". I haven't noticed any change in how thw car drives or sounds
