to be fair... when you are selling stuff, and you are asked for something you dont sell, if you are asked again, it can be a tad annoying. i work in a shop that we bought 9 years ago and every day i get 'but you used to sell them, are you sure?' IT WAS 9 SODDIN YEARS AGO!!!!! sorry i feel better now...
    it's in me shed, mate.

Yes I definitely want to go ahead. There's plenty of play in the bushes at the moment and I also want to get the front end aligned again, but don't want to do it without having new bushes first. If you let me know how much it'll cost I can send you a cheque upfront if you like.

I have ordered 2 of the rack mounting kits, and they will be mailed out to us next wednesday, they only ship out to other countries once a week.

If you could pm your phone number I will let you know how much you need to send me, although that will not be until next week, so no rush.

Finally got round to fitting the bushes last Sunday! They made a huge improvement and it took me a day or two to get used to the new handling. I was so used to compensating for sloppy steering. Now i just need to get the rest of the front end aligned after I knocked it out at Langdale.

Fitting wasn't too bad, its a fairly simple job. The fact that the anti-roll bar stops the rack from being pulled back enough is a pain, but I managed it in the end without removing the bar. Once the new bushes were in, getting the mounting bolts back in was a complete arse. As there was virtually no give in the bushes it made getting everything to line up quite difficult. Some large steel bars and a lot of levering helped though

No point in me doing a write-up as my install went exactly the same as in the link posted above, apart from he had a diff drop installed. And yes, I did have to drill out one of the sleeves as it was ever so slightly too small.

Andy, have you done yours yet?

Hi Mike. You don't have to worry about these bushes cos you don't have a steering rack
1st and 2nd gens use a different steering setup than the 3rd gens.

The cost to me was £13 - Andy ordered two sets from the US.

            Cheers, Rob
