Air Intake Heater

HI Everyone,
I live in Canada where the temp regularly drops to -20 C or -40 C all the time, and the old KNZ130 has a real hard time starting when not plugged in. This is normally not a problem since I park her inside and use the block heater, but at the end of a long day skiing the truck is cold and been parked outside for 8+ hours and it takes forever to start. I replace the glow plug's and filters at the beginning of every winter, and run a 5w30 as recommended for those cold days. I was thinking of installing a Air intake heater, like the ones used in the Duramax's, Has anyone ever done this before? Also is there a factor or Toyota air intake heater I could fit to it?
If so pls let me know.

Maybe one of these can be installed in the intake manifold somewhere or even the air intake. If it can, then maybe also with a bit of thinking, it could also be made to work via the glow plug wiring. Maybe connected to a relay that is switched on and of via glow plug wiring. A lot of maybe's I know but something to think about.

I am not sure how much current these draw so you need to find out so you can use a suitable relay.

I live in eastern Ontario. Sometimes when it's that cold that there are brass monkeys running around, I carry a small gas generator and a power blanket (from Northern Tool) in the back and plug it in for a half hour before I head home.
