        GJ ok,

        What mpg are you getting?

I have a manual also but I have not used it yet. I am registering it this week.

        Cheers Mike

I've owned my 3.0 ltr 3rd gen for a week and have just done 358 miles on about 55 ltrs which works out at about 29.5 mpg, and that's not even motorway driving.....I was quite impressed as I expected alot less

thats appaling - your first tank!!! you must have been scared of the size of something soon enough it will come down!
I get about 300-350 per tank, had 470 out of it before top to bottom but I also did 160km on £30 too AHEM!

Hehehe....well since discovering how to turn the overdrive off and realising how high the volume goes I suspect my second tank will not be so good.....

I notice the difference with the fuels too :-)

Esso gives best power, Total gives the best fuel economy but the power is down, BP sounds different to Texaco but both of them give good power and reasonable economy - 400km from brim to warning light. In my experience anyway

I do a mix of driving usually with about 200kg of tools and stuff in the back. When I don't I tend to have the boot down so I will never see the illusive 30mpg

Edit: Oh and supermarket fuels tend to make it smoke like a chimney!

                      Rich.
If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!

I am getting a consistant 510 or 520 warning light to brimful. what is that? about 28mpg? I am running Biopower's biodiesel most of the time (60:40 mix in dino diesel's favour)....

                            Hi
I believe that a full tank is 65l (14.4 Gallons), 60-75% WVO: 25% Shell or Texaco Diesel.

I fill it up when the light comes on, so it may still have a few litres in it as reserve, but dunno how much...

                            Warmest Regards
                            Udhi

Well, light comes on at about 55litres, say 12.23 gallons. 520kms is 325 mls so thats about 25.57mpg. But who cares on vegoil

So how much fuel is left when the light comes on, and where is the guage reading when it comes on? I've never seen mine come on and have run it below the lower mark on the gauge.

I managed about 450k on a tank the other day (day after boxing day), before bottling out and filling up again. Suspect it would have been better if the M6 wasn't varying between stopped and 30mph.
