    Smokey isn't good

Hi I haven't forgotten about the turbo seals I am still on the hunt, will advice when I have found, if the prob is too bad try cleaning the system this works for about a K. If the vehicle is up for test let it run on tick over for about 30 mins then give it some booty bown an open road prior to test . this will keep you going untill I find my little man again.

I would be intrested in a set of seals as well (also a ln1302.4td). i was going to get the injectors refurbed or replaced but i might try the seals first.
so much to do , so little money , so little time

You can't change the seals yourself as they require a press and then balancing of the shaft. You will need to get a turbo specialist to refurb the Turbo. Turbo Technics do it.

        Cheers

          No such thing as can't

What I will do is clear it with the geezer and post his details for you to contact him direct.
Not being funny but you aren't in engineering are you otherwise you would know that there is no such thing as can't do that. A little care and attention and prob solved I have done three surf turbo's myself and don't have a problem with any of them.

              Paulo.

Sorry was just passing on what I had been told. If it can be done all well and good. I know that you can buy the parts from Turbo Technics so if it is possible to do it yourself this would make a big difference to people as a rebuild can cost upwards of £350 done by a turbo specialist.

              Cheers
