Why this fixation with the glowplugs???
I've told you what the problem is back in post #12.
The truck is taking a long time to fire up and runs lumpy for a while until warm?
This is becase the diaphram has split in the primer head allowing the fuel to drain back to the tank. The smoke you are seeing on start-up is air in the fuel, hense the continuous cranking to get the engine to start because the fuel pump has to suck the fuel all the way from the tank!
