After trawling all the posts on leaking coolant from just behind the bottom pulley, pretty sure its behind the cambelt cover, I am 99% positive the water pump has decided to spit the dummy.
It drips fairly constant ( a drip a second) while running, and even when not running, if I squeeze the main hoses I can force a drip or two out (still talking about the truck here)
My only niggle was that uptill yesterday, all was well, no leaks, no puddles then yesterday afternoon I replaced the old water, with new coolant. Is it possible the coolant(ethylene glycol) had something to do with it? Or is just a rather annoying coincident? Checked all hoses and all seem tight, no weeping (was actually hoping for this, easy fix) but alas it looks like a PITA job is on the cards.
Ideas?
