Doubtful. Whatever is connected round the front of your housing is the addition. Those two connections in your pic are the standard fitments. Coolant sensor will definitely be in the side of the block. It wouldn't be accurate if it was placed remotely.Originally posted by Thriftyfrom the look of that connector it might be someones done a mod on mine and sent it up to the thermostat housing

hi,
follow up,
changed glow plugs, checked all resistances, replaced fuel filter,
but still problem.
where first thing when cold, left overnight,
turn over, no smoke whatsoever. not trying to fire, wont start on easystart,
the lift pump is spongy, my friend took a pipe off going to it sucked it up till diesel in his mouth, put it bk on, lift pump was hard.
some days it starts fine, odd day wont, it just turns over till batteries die!Russell

gradually gets stiffer after about 15-20 pumps,Originally posted by BUSHWHACKER View PostDiaphram in the primer split alowing diesel to drain back to the tank?
Does it get stiffer when you've pumped it a few times?
twice done it today now.
7am this morning, 3 lots turning over no, went and primed it up, 15-20 pumps, turned over, started to fire, fired and started, very rough start then cleared, guessing the fuel had made its way through?
12.45am exactly the same as the morning.Russell

It should only need about five or six pumps.Originally posted by scourslane View Postgradually gets stiffer after about 15-20 pumps,
