    Hello,

Can someone shed some light please?

I had a problem were my 80amp fuse kept blowing for the heater plugs, it wouldnt start or fire without a small dab of easy start in the morning, the rest of the day would be fine. i took that to an auto electrician and he said fuse was blowing because a wire was shorting out near injector.

He sorted it, and you can hear it all working now,

Morning after, give it a few turns heat the plugs, and nothing firing or starting, tried dab of easy start and that found it hard work, its took about 10 mins get it going with easy start,

    whats my problem

You can't 'hear' the glow plugs working, only the relays clicking. Clicking relays don't mean working glow plugs. If this new problem started to happen immediately after the electrician fixed it, there's a fair possibility he's broken it!

Don't use easy start all the time.

The 80amp fuse carries the power for the glow plugs, it does not carry the power to activate the relay. The relay will click away quite happliy without the 80amp fuse.

"aint going nowhere" is a double negative. So if it isn't going nowhere, it must be going somewhere.

Possibly, have you checked the 80amp fuse is OK? Also, check for power at the glow plug bus bar. I think it should be 10.5v for a few seconds then 6.5v, but check that. Also check the individual glow plug resistances to ground.

A diesel is only started from cold once a day, other than that the engine is still warm.

                    just to add.

when i got it started without easy start this morning, it took a gud 2 mins,

when cranking it turned over normal, then got faster as if fireing, fut was half down on accelerator, sounds as if started let go off key from start position, but went out, kept doing this for 2 mins, and then finally got it going.

                    Could it be

                    1) fuel problem when left overnight, maybe lift pump? all fuel going back to tank overnight.

                    2) heater plugs not doing job properly

                    3) anything else

Using East Start is not gonna solve the Problem n not recommended on a regular basis..... It's addictive !!
If ya gotta use a helper try WD40 into the Air Intake (Misting only)

There's always a Payback .... Don't know where n ya never know when tho !!!!
