Undone Wrong Nut !!

During coolant change, I was struggling to get to bottom hose and drain valve on bottom of rad, so needed to drop air con rad / fans. Still a bit tight, so like a t*at undone the nut that holds the 2 'figure of 8 shaped' rubber blocks together which prompted an immediate high pressure release of I'm guessing air con gas?? After changing the boxer shorts, re-done nut up and left well alone. 2 questions guys:

1) It is just air con gas? (hoping its not the deadly Jap version and I've just killed my whole village)

2) Is it a case of just getting air con re-gassed and all will be well?

Any help appreciated.

to re gas, you should get it evacuated too, then gassed.

Ok cheers bud. I have now developed an oil leak thats dripping onto the air con rad left hand side, from I'm guessing somewhere beneath the air con compressor. Is this just coincidence, or have I caused this by nerfing the air con gas? Beginning to wish I'd left the old coolant in....

Still got an airlock also even after burping it countless times, leaving nose pointing uphill with rad cap off, etc etc, anyone got any other tips for purging air besides burping system? Stating to right on my t1ts now

Top ya Rad up, leave ya rad cap (on the divers seat) off over night...
In the morning check ya water level n replace rad cap ...

Rip the aircon out ......It will make access to the engine alot easier . Also you MAY have problems getting it refilled as they are old systems
