The light on the stearing boot

Taking good advantage of your photo, do you know the purpose of the umber light on the upper steering boot, the one on the right hand side? Mine is constantly turned on!

That light is should go off as soon as you turn te ignition key. It is only there to help you find the key hole when it's dark.

You can try find out why it does not go off, there is lots of info in the forum, wiring diagrams and so on... but this is not criticall the car will not fail MOT because of this issue.
