To get back costs you could always ebay your standard surf rims! Check out my surf in the " ok! a few pics" thread under general! Thats what 265/75r16's look like!

cheers guys, got a suitable looking centre box from a transit, £34 brand new, will have to magic up some sort of bend to make it a side exit in front of the rear wheels, but it's looking good. Thanks again for the info on tyres and lifts...these wellers of the shogun someone said "the off set is different" what does thst mean?dinna say eh?....say fit?

the offset is the difference between the mounting face of the wheel and one of the edges or something along them lines someone will explain it better, but it basically means the wheels will sit closer to the body / further away because of the offsets being different. I think shogun wheels will sit further away so stick out from the arches a bit more.=========

ahhh, these wellers were in the s$$$$py on a mk1 shogun, 5 for £20 with 3 legal ish tyres so I'll have to tread carefully since I dont have the plastic arch extentions 265/75/16s seem to be the biggest recommended.
What about insurance for a 2 inch lift anyone got any companies they'd recommend???dinna say eh?....say fit?

i'm with Adrian Flux, there's quite a few on here with lifesure i think.
I'm sure someone who knows for sure about the shogun wheels will be able to give you a more definate yes/no as to whether they would be ok, but i'd say stick em on and see how they look with whatever tyres they got on at the moment.=========

exhausts
Originally posted by leo's dadExhaust gone from front pipe back. Heard transit rear section good swap...Anyone got more info...Thanks
I purchased a S/S Powerflow tail-pipe and a S/S 3 ft. straight section on ebay. I then took the mid-section flange off the old exhaust and basically wired it all in place. A sat. morning visit to the local welding garage for the welds and all for round about £100. The 4.5 inch tail-pipe makes it rumble like a V8. The exhaust was from a Golf.

Alternative exhaust £100 all in.
Hi folks,
Took pics today, truck been working hard this week. As you can see in the pics- a coating of grit-salt collected from the hillies of east lancashire!
May fail MoT as tail-pipe does not quite extend beyond the bumper. You will see in one pic the flange from the old exhaust welded to the 3mm stainless tube to make the coupling.
Any questions please shoot.
