    Thanks for the info on the spacers, i am not sure what the spacers are for, like i said I only got the truck last friday so I know very little about it.

      The spacers just make the wheels stand out a bit more. The ones I mentioned above are 30mm thick, so push each wheel out by 30mm, widening the track of the Surf by a total of 60mm.

      A wider track increases handling, but it's a Surf, not a sports car!!
      It just does, OK?

        I think those alloys might have been an option. I've seen them on quite a few Surfs, including mine.

        I also bought a set of what look to be identical spacers. I never got round to fitting them as the studs need to be cut down so that they fit properly, and I just never found sufficient time to bother. Don't think I will now, and I suspect they might turn up on ebay soon.

          I got a set of those as a freebee when i got my mt's off ebay
          tried them on the hub and then binned them as they looked so mickey mouse

              The long Nuts that came with them fitted without a problem...Roughtrax do some nuts and i think Ian619 might know other suppliers as he has been looking for other types to fit after market alloys

                great that not much damage to truck, I know sutton bank and wouldnt like to lose a wheel at the top of it!!!, lucky you were at the bottom

                        fleebay spacers

                        had the same problem about a month ago coming back from wales with jet ski on the back all six wheel nuts snapped at once wheel took of down the road and hit a cop car . mine also had the wheel spacers of fleebay what a load of s*** people need to steer well clear of that $$$$
