OK, so this'll all sound like rank rookie talk here and that's 'cause it is.
Just got a Surf ('90, 2.4 Turbo) a couple weeks ago. Love it except both my alternator belts crumbled into dust last week. I've looked at all the info on this site for belt replacement and it all seems straight forward, except I can't seem to get the tension to release on the A/C belt pulley. I've loosened off the bolt, but there's no movement happening on the pulley. Plan B was to remove the mounting bracket for the tension mechanism entirely, but I can't get at one of the bolts to loosen it.
I also can't get the fan off, so I've got very little room to work with.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
