Ha - its still in the garage believe it or not. They put it back together for the zilionth time, drove it from Bradford to Halifax and 20 miles in it goes into limp mode, engine clacking, no turbo.

        Stumped is not the word.

Its had a rebuilt engine, theyve had the diesel pump off and on and around to "specialists" - its $$$$.

Anyway they arent charging me a penny but its currently in pieces AGAIN!

Anyone any thoughts at all other than to burn the fecker

They are on about finding where the bypass is that cuts the tubby out when the ecu light comes on and blocking it as they can see any problems with the engine.

It must be one of the most frustrating things Ive ever been through! More stress than a applying for a $$$$$$ mortgage!

        Anyone help?

Best suggestion (still valid from a year ago) is to speak to, or get the garage to speak to, Stevo as he is generally recognised as the master of the surf engine mysteries.

Unless that's where it is already. In which case, yeah, burn it.
