Hi Guys & Girls,
A couple of weeks ago I posted a thread complaining that my HiLux pick-up stopped after about 20 miles. Well I've changed the fuel filter and unfortunately it still stops. This only seems to happen when the tank is less than half full. When I removed the old filter (of unknown vintage) in the bottom was what I can only describe as brown pond weed, a sort of slimey, clingy film. Is it posible that there is more of this S**t in the fuel tank and as the level drops it starts clinging to the pickup pipe? If so is there any way of getting it out? I would appreciate your suggestions.
