    HELP, I need to know the thread size of the of the auto box cooling pipes that go into the rad as I want to put a manual rad in and fit an external oil cooler.

    They just use a rubber hose and clips.

      Just nipped out to the workshop.

      I have had an oil cooler made up with the right size bore to match the existing pipework under the surf coming from the auto box.

      I have used the following flexible pipes to reconnect the original oil cooler and (soon) the new external one.

      This is what is written on the hose.
      "ES/RD Vacuum Brake SAEJ1403 9.4MM"

      The fixed pipework has an external bore of about 10mm, so this flexible pipework is real tight... jubilee over the top, job done.

      I bought this hose in Lloyds in South Harrow, it is something that they keep in stock.
