The Mitsubishi Pajero, known as the Mitsubishi Montero in North America and Spanish-speaking countries, and as Mitsubishi Shogun in the United Kingdom, is an SUV built by the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The name Montero was used because Pajero is slang for "****er" in Spanish.

Plus, the LWB Paj has been referred to as "the Mississipi Showboat", for obvious reasons.

I opted for the Surf over the Shogun because:

i) it's a Toyota
ii) Shoguns aren't that hot off-road according to what I've seen. They don't seem to have the articulation of a Surf or a coil-sprung Rover.
iii) According to a Shogun-owning friend, the ride quality isn' that hot either. The Surf's is similar to the Classic Range-Rover.
