Have a read here, looks like 225 75 16 may be the tyre to go for. As a first step i,d try one for size on one of the fronts, and although tyre width will be restricted, you could always use spacers to push them out a bit.

The gen 3 surf and the colorado share the same chassis and suspension so they can't not fit! the only difference between wide and narrow body models is the plastic arch trims the yanks got both wide and narrow gen3 4runners
