Hi Guys,
Not been around for a while...
My poor old 2nd gen 4Runner has been sat unused for the last year. At the last MOT the driveshaft boot on one side had split. It was only an advisory, but I didn't want to run around anywhere with the car until I had it fixed, so as not to do more serious damage.
Now the MOT has expired and I'm going to have to move the car off the driveway soon, so I've got to get this darn boot fixed!
I've bought a set of boots off Rough Trax and I bought the manual they sell for the 4Runner. Unfortunately, the info in it about drive shafts is very limited.
This must be a common problem, does any one know the best way of taking the driveshaft out to exchange the boots?
Thanks in advance
