Do we have to pay congestion charge if when going to Parlaiment Square???

serious now ... I think if \more people took action, like hear what GLASS has to say and maybe join to make your point made, or look abroad.get some ideas there and run for council here..., or simply stop reading The Sun.

Problem is people tend to hear only half what is said, LibDems propose income tax ! great let the big earners pay more, why should I pay the same counciltax as someone making 50K more than I?

Maybe this would be the right push for people to start using BioDiesel, I would love to, but got to drive 90miles for the nearest BioPump. So Tesco's Diesel will do till... And no I wont start a refinery in my garden.

The whole argument is crap. Politics really pi$$es me off.

You buy more fuel, you'll pay more tax, you can't help it! so your already paying extra for lower MPG cars.

I did say tend and I wasn't refering to just 4x4 (after all I own one and you can prize the keys from my cold dead hands). Hence my comments about usage and alternative fuels - the whole issue gets complicated.

But one thing not to forget what we have and use today we do not have tomorrow when we have finite resorses.

I always want to be off road but how are we expected to get between the muddy stuff if they won't let us on the tarmac?
Some bloke in London, Kenny Livingstone I think he was baptised, just a few weeks ago reckoned that he was going to charge double for 4 x44's to enter the congestion zone. Funny how 14 hrs later he changed his mind.
or was it that LibDems want to tax 4 x4's that offroad?

                              Ahhhh, the 48 h week.

It is written as a 48 driving week !, Not working week !

I dont know about you sluggy but I do multi drops, leaving monday AM, back friday PM doing multidrops, mostly Cumbria, Lancs, Cheshire, Staffs down to West Mids and a bit of Worchester.

I do about 56h working hours! a week, and max 9h drive time a day

                              tacho rules: 2 * 10 = 20 + (3 * 9) =47 <<<---- there you go, only weekend drivers got a prob, so as long 5 day week, you're safe.
And this info comes from the RHA

nah, it's working week... we're on a trial right now... although "prime time" doesn't count (waiting etc.)
usually i'll do 2 15hr days 3 12 hrs and a saturday till around lunchtime...
56hrs is the current maximum for driving and 90 is the maximum working hours (followed by a short week of course)
