I voted no...

There is no need that I've seen, infact quite the opposite this place has a great balance, people seem mature enough (or immature when required) to know what's what.

Nothing worse than too many Mods busy bodying their way about the place!

The swear filter is a bit over eager though... filtering out things like "the adjective to describe as covered in blood", honestly, if that's the biggest gripe.. that's no issue at all.

In the last few months the forum has been great. I try to have a little peek everyday, work permitting. Loads of technical threads, mods, pick-up conversions... very exciting.

The folks that get their kicks out of stirring controversy, 'melt-downs' and the like seem to have moved on to greener pastures.

I ran one of the biggest forums of its kind during the naughties and moderation is obviously a lot more than damping down rifts.

Tidying up threads, sections etc. Helping those who can't figure out functions etc.

This place doesn't need loads of mods...but it definitely needs more active mods.

i use both forums,lot of good people on both. and im grateful for the advise and help i get on both sites,and do what i can to return the favours.
i've known some car forums that are just full of trolls and generally unpleasant people.
serve me right for buying a GTi at my age,i guess.
