    your avin a bubble,geezer

mark, with regard to water jet cutting, my company recently (last year) started using a company in melksham,on bowerhill est.
we were getting stung with a £250 setting up charge for our low batch (1-3) jobs, by the people on bumpers farm we were using.
this new company is very cheap, but very good quaility.
westcut engineering ,avro way. 01225 707377.
niel saunders is the guy who we deal with, and in charge of the water jet m/c.
    just a thought.

thought i'd drag the conversation back here, mark.
saturday would be great thanks, don't need to ask how you found out the FB plug, i've seen a member that had a familiar biohazard avatar on the club site!
got the ok from my guv to have a little, shall we say, clear out of Ali offcuts, etc.
looking through the stuff with a different perspective, now, seeing what could be of use to fabricators of your talent level.
should have a good haul by friday.
BJ's are now programmed, think i've got it right ( lets hope) and hope to stay on friday and knock some out. may have some material for the shock spacers, but unsure what size to make them. if i take you up on the offer of those standard land cruiser shocks,i wont need spacers,so really i should just see what size would be off more use to you and stringer. (2'',3'' or ridiculous)
truck was mega in the snow this morning..........

Feckin awesome mate. Yep bio hazard or yeti as I like to call him ( long story). Is also a member over there as is my other half now.think she put some pics of my truck as work in progress. Glad your getting to grips with the new lift, I will sort that little gremlin out saturday morning for you.Youve got the modding bug now it wont be long before youll want a suspension set up like mine.lol. Any scrap pieces of steel, ally you get will always be of use, myself , parrot or stringer will allways find a good use for it. THE STANDARD CRUISER SPRINGS MAY REQUIRE A LITTLE FETTLE OF THE REAR SHOCK MOUNTS, BUT WE CAN SORT THAT ONCE THEY ARE IN.

i take it by 'fettle' you mean getting medieval on it with a grinder!!
made up some s/steel spacers for the gap inbetween the under rider and the bush bars, today. and bugg*r me if stringers hole drilling in the mounting brackets was within 0.1mm.
thats talent, and impressive to say the least. and yes,i've got a wee bug for the whole 'up and out ' stance, now. tyres have been ordered, for my shiny rims.
(got my rim wax, too! insert tentative pun, now!) .
what kind of steel would you use? flat bar of some kind,in strip form?

good news is, i did a dry (fresh air) run of the BJ's program, and it works still not sure i really understand it,but i'll do more research, later, but looking good for friday, anyway. got some good aerospace grade Ali for the spring spacers, but im going to hold off that for the time being, until i know who's having them, and what size to make them. we'll talk about that on saturday,
gave you another plug today, interesting thread about how high you can go up on a surf. think you may have a customer!
