' You've arrived on a rather special night. It's one of the master's affairs.'
mark.
the guys in the drawing office, are giving me a complete machine drawing for the new project. as for my bit,the sheet i have is 8mm thick, lathe work using 'c' axis is looking like a 30 min cycle, per component .dont have material in stock, looking expensive for stock .think laser cutting is way forward, company on bumpers farm, chippenham looks the way forward .will look into it. might be able to get prototype done here, looks doubtfull.
Scotty, without giving anything away would this be to do with what we were discussing earlier today? Just curious.
Oh and not a hijack But Mark if your keen to come along to the Avalanche weekend just let me or Scott know on here and I'll make sure you have a place mate
and i have (ahem) secured a sheet of this delrin,to bring over on saturday.
Tis always good to have the option of an option, lol, Its ok Scott , dont worry too much it was really good of you to offer and it is appreciated. If you can bring a sheet of delrin over that would be ace. I can get to work with an angle grinder and rough profile them out , this will be good enough for a set of prototypes.
