        Just so we are all at the same speed;
        With the HI/LO selector all the way back you have no drive forward or reverse.
        With the 4WD button pushed in you can move forward and back?

        Asking as you say " All the gears work" what do you mean by this?

              Just got it jacked up With the HI/LO selector all the way back put it in drive no wheels moving, Put it back in neutral pressed the 4x4 button put it back in drive only front wheels moving so no drive to the rear wheels at all . I have 2

                  Did the problem suddenly happen or did it slowly get worse before all rear drive was lost.

                    Hi Jeff, if the prop shaft is turning fine then there must be something wrong with your rear diff. You might want to take the vehicle to a garage and get them to have a good look.
                    Hope you get it sorted.

                      We confirmation that the rear prop is actually turning first.

                            You have confirmation so now's the time for somebody to explain the importance of the replacement diff having the same ratio as the original one (Assuming that already matches the front diff)
