I want to run 2 different make wireless routers in my house.
My internet comes in on a cat5 cable from a neighbours house.
It then goes into a wireless router in my garage.
2 cables run from this router, to 2 desktop computers.
Can I put the 2nd wireless router at the end of one of these cables then come out and go to the desktop & and have wireless at a 2nd location?
When I do this it all sort of goes slow.
The routers are on different I.P addresses,
I tried disabling DHCP on the second router, everything works fine apart from the wireless from that router.
