It is just me , or does everyone have a little oval shape hole in the rear bumper , prehaps I should rephrase .....

Is it just my Surf , or does everyone have a little oval shape hole in the rear bumper ????

it looks like you can slot something in there, like a bracket or something. Any ideas ?

Ahh if you have a rear carrier, then the hole will be for torquing the flux capacitor

It needs torquing? In that case what does the little red button on the gearbox do to it?

Jeez are you FICK the red button is only for operating the flux capacitor, however if its not torqued in the first place the red button will do nothing.

Thats why it didnt work then, if I pull the high temperature beverage supporting device all the way out will it prevent the flux capacitor from fully discharging?

You know there should really be something written in the technical section about this to stop it coming up all the time. I know they mention it on the japenses instructions on the door but not everyone can translate them

Yeah yeah , but in the instructions for the flux capacitor , it says it takes 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to power it.

Are my two batteries ok to cope with this , or should I hook up a bumpercar type device to the hole in the bumper and drive under powerlines ?

I was told it was a water drain hole for when you have been off-roading through 4 feet of water. If this hole becomes blocked it would be like driving a swimming pool on wheels.

Mine must be different then, i put the key shaped thing thats under the rear seat in, turn it 180 degs and the bumper (back half only) drops down on its hinges. I then store my tow rope, socket set, jump leads etc in the compartment all out of site.

Can you get them over here ? As Im looking for a good way and cheap wy to carry 3 bikes on the back.

Most of them need a towbar fitted and then you have to buy a carrier that fits the towbar. But if one of these hitch things will work , then maybe I could use that ? instead of shelling out for a towbar to be fitted. ?
