Hi Richard, on the offchance you might see this (or if anyone knows his email address) i just wanted to ask a question, you kindly posted a diagram in this thread below
if you remember? well the steps more or less finished and working ok, the only thing left to do is sort out some sort of cut out to stop the winch over riding the step, i cant use the diag as i've dumped the 2000lb winch for a biggun (full size 13,000lb) so the size of the main cables prevents me from wiring it to a DPDT, this winch has a remote hand held controll and a pair of radio remote's, i did want to wire a cutout on the main earth lead but cant see any way of doing this due to the thickness of cable so working on the handheld, is there any way i could wire a cutout just useing the handheld cable and switch, i added a couple of pics of it, it has what looks like a DPDT momentry rocker which has three wires running to the solinoid box (had to rewire the cr@p original plug to a snap connector),
i'm guessing i still need to make a switch to cross over the polarity?
any help/ideas much apprecieated, cheer's ian
