Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.
I am touring around Scotland and my surf has started making a loud squeaking / squealing noise. It sounds like its from the front passenger wheel or foot well area, it does not do it when coasting, only when accelerating.
Could it be the wheel bearing?
It was an advisory on my mot, but a mechanic said it just needed "nipping up" and he tightened it just over a month ago.
The belts near the fan seem ok, no noise on tick over or when coasting, but as soon as I press the accelerator it starts squeaking?
Please help, as im doing lots of miles and the poor surf has been up more mountains than Sherpa Tenzing! By the way the mountains around Fort William have lots of snow on them.
Thanks for any help, Stuart.
