got stuck!!

went for a little off-road before work to try the new one (the3L), and got stuck, had it in 4wd, but front wheels didn't seem to move when accelerate,
then i realize what its under the bonnet (yellow thing)
it shouldn't be there (under the wing, is'nit?)
can someone show me show me same pics how it should be, or a diagram, please? thank you.

Never seen one of those before, but it looks like a vacuum pipe should plug into that piece you are holding as you say the A.D.D. isn't working.
Have a look for a black vacuum pipe thats hanging loose, probably near the top of the radiator near the driver's side battery.

Don't think the 3ltr has a vacuum tank. Don't know what the yellow thing is. Just check hoses to front diff are connected and you are getting vacuum at the rear hose on that F shaped connector. Blue VSV should have power in 4WD and Brown VSV power when not. These are what switches the vacuum for the front diff.

Thats exactly what it is!! I had the same one on my truck. Just rip it all out and throw it away

anyone who know to read jap? it may explain what it says on the yellow thing, plus one of the pipes is connected on the left side of the engine

Hi Budweiser,

It's defo just air horns. I can't explain why it seems to be connected to the engine. Mine rane from the jack stowage compartment,through the bulkhead and down to the horns that are still wedged behind my front bumper,until I get the occassion to take the front bumper off.
I wold suggest cut it all out and if the pipe stubs suck or blow,just blank them off??

i like the idea of air horns, but you need a compressor for it, and the only thing i see on mine is that, no horns, and im wondering why attached to the engine?

That's connected to where the boost sensor hose is. Strange place for it.
