  • snorkel group buy?

i've found a company in NZ that do snorkels for the gen2 for £130 plus delivery and will do discount on 5 or more.

ill be ordering one, so if we can get some more names we can get a decent snorkel for decent money hopefully.

    here are some details:

An Essential Snorkel is made of Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Match the filter with a Unifilter and you have the perfect filtration system.

    - Designer styled with no visible bolts or brackets
    - Air ram - low restriction 90% water separation and full water drainage
    - Minimum joint points, snorkel to air box
    - Utilising existing air-cleaner and under bonnet access points
    - Stainless steel clamps and brackets
    - Polyethylene injection moulding for every snorkel
    - One-piece air-ram including grill

The snorkel kit comes with all the parts you will require including a template.

Given that they're 12,000 miles away, have they told you what they want for delivery?

I know of a outfit in Spain that'll do them for £20 cheaper than that.

      It's in the search box.

I'm wAiting for a reply to find total costs with a 5 person discount. Once I've got it sorted then I'll get some deposits and order them up if there are enough people interested

No doubt, but why is it a problem if they are fibreglass?

With the type of lanes I drive, fibreglass wouldn't last 5 minutes, with these ones you get a bit of flex and give before they break, so unless you fall on it or hit something really big it should be fine

Maybe a home made one out of some steel drainpipe (or similar) might be the order of the day?
