Well, I'm liking your ideas of an undercover BBQ area, but no, that will be next year, when I save up a bit more cash. I have very BIG plans afoot for that.... The larger open half is a wood store, and I have the wood, already seasoned, to fill it entirely, and the enclosed half is a 6'x6' shed for the mower and garden tools, garden chairs etc...
Felt, Roof tiles, Fascia and Guttering, and a trellis for the open side, and its about there I reckon..."B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

You can build anything up to 3 metres high out of brick without planning if its over 5 metres from the house..."B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

The cream area is where I plan to start my covered area/bbq/patio joining the 2 extensions with a glass roof coming out as shown on the second picture (I drew this a few years ago and am still refining it!)
