    She certainly did, she then drove it for 15 miles and only realised what she had done when it wouldnt start later on and she checked her receipt.

    I rely on reading between the lines in conversation sometimes too though...its a less direct way of making it known whats expected without spelling it out. Probably my fault...most stuff is tbh.

    Far too vague. Clearly not a real mate or it would have been done for nothing. In which case you should have reached an explicitly acknowledged agreement with the person you were expecting to receive money from.
