mate down the road borrowed my battery charger,hes charging the battery with it still connected,its on a trooper, right or wrong lads.

In reality it doesnt make a fat lot of difference, so long as it`s not left on boost over night or any other daft thing it`ll be right, and a trooper probably wouldnt care less if you hooked it straight up to the mains!

I don't buy them.
Surely any mains borne transient is on the input to the charger, not the output?
Assuming one made it through to the output of the charger, its gonna have to be a pretty monstrous spike to overcome the capacitive effect of the battery and nail your ECU.Last edited by Apache; 7 October 2011, 00:32.Cutting steps in the roof of the world
