You asked a question, and it was answered. Unfortunately your question and subsequent responses tended to suggest that you didn't want to help people. I gave you the benefit of the doubt assuming you were worried about the legal position only, and not the moral position. Obviously I was wrong.
That attitude unsuprisingly &£@?s people off. Go figure. People on this board help other people. That is why this board is here, and that is why we are here.
So you don't want to help others? OK. But don't expect praise for such a cnutish attitude.
As for the whole "I've had it tough" thing, spare us. Look at the people on here who have really had it tough (eg Highlander) and row down.
As for the princess response to this thread - wtf? You think this is criticism?

              My two penneth

a few will remember i nearly totalled my Surf in the snow last November I was saved by deep snow and not sinking into a 12 foot deep ditch, after calling a recovery firm and being quoted 4 to 6 hours if they could get to me at all ??? a friendly local in a badly battered defender stopped and asked if he could help 10 mins later I was hauled back onto the road , minor damage inspected we drove the last mile home in slow convoy, the guy wouldn't take any money ( got him a wonderful bottle of speyside though) But he didn't grumble at minus 15c and helped me out and I am eternally grateful. I have fitted better winter tyres for the coming season

                  Don't do that !

This place needs livening up from time to time - and people like you keep the spotlight well away from people like me ...

Just do us all one favour - if you're going to drink then drink something decent rather than JD cos it's shite !
