Me n' Bio have been having discussion about a new section covering ROW's.
Not put it to the other bosses yet, but maybe time to get finger out.
But for now if you want a loose guide only ever drive on lanes with blatent Byway sign posts, and now winters coming a lot will also have TRO's on them.
TRO's are Temporary Restriction Orders to allow lanes that are overused or too messed up to be closed to have time to recover or be resurfaced, or any that annually get extremely cut up in wet weather with vehicle use. The last are usually perminently sign posted with dates of restrictions, the former can appear randomly so always check carefully before starting any lane.
Also google GLASS, CRAG, Tread lightly, etc.. for dedicated 'Greenlaning' sites covering everything.
