I spent another day hammering nails. Tie down straps fitted along with 40m of joists/bracing, finished at last. I am very pleased with the result every inch of the roof is now nice and solid. Off to Central Plastics tomorrow to buy my fascia boards and gutters.

Love this thread. There is something so satisfying about watching building work progress. That moment when the roof is on and there is suddenly a building where there used to be space - I suppose it is how primeval man felt when he made a shelter or found a nice dry cave...

Took a couple of days off this week to work on the build, Alan came over today and we finished the door and trimmed all overhangs. So after 3 shifts on it this week, I am really close to the felt and tiles going on.
