Hi all,

New to the site - 2nd post!!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Ben and I'm from Wexford in Ireland. Recently bought a 1993 SSR-X 2.4 auto (Jap import). Very tidy except for a few issues....but all will be resolved eventually! At a price I suspect.....

I've had 2 Hilux pickups before, Mk3 and Mk5. This is my first surf.

Anyway...I have plenty of questions already....but for now. HELLO!

Got it local here in Wexford.

There's a few bits to do alright - have to check thermo/rad cap/pressure test - as there was a bit of overheating. (Fingers crossed the heads ok!)
Also - speedo not working. And gear changes seem to let revs get too high.
All this is in the technical section - had a few questions!

Other than that it's VERY tidy for the year. I'm down in Kerry with work at the moment, and surf's in Wexford. I'll get photos up when i get a chance.

Me likes that....! But I needed a passenger jeep....first child arriving October.....

Anyone ever converted a passenger surf into commercial crew cab by adding a rear bulkhead? I heard it can be done with surfs as they have enough rear capacity to class it as commercial??
