Nice one Vince. Looks like it's going to turn out to be a decent truck that.
The young apprentice looks like he's having a great time. Reminds me of my wee nephew. Fireman Sam crazy

That one behind the hedge looks familiar

hehe!! Yep, I'm doing things differently this time, getting the V8 and transmission ready first then bring the truck into the garage to swap engines.
If you remember I have limited space at the moment.
The engine should be in by the end of next week as your engine bay is already very clean.

          Why thank you Sir

Nay worries mate, I'm in no hurry, you take all the time you need. Although I'm sure your keen to get it finished and out of the way. Looks like your building up a right wee collection outside the door

Did you 'dye' it with paint?

Vince, would a litre bottle of this dye be enough to do what you done in this pic?

I think I used at least two litres to do that much, spraying from different directions to make sure it got right through to the bottom of the carpet pile.

That photo was taken using a flash so it looks a bit washed out than it does in the 'flesh'. The carpet was light grey originally, similar to the seats.

I would get yourself a 5 litre container, as the more you apply the blacker the carpet gets.

Brush the pile against the grain first to make it stand up to get good coverage.

Those wheels have gone now, swapped them for some 20" alloys/tyres.

Your Lexurf SE will be wearing these.......
