That is odd, handbrake is exceptional on my old bus and does lock the wheels up. Maybe i`m just lucky, or is rust lighter than solid steel.................
I swapped out every component on my 2nd gen, calipers, master cylinder, flushed fluid, tested wheel cylinders, adjusted handbrake and shoes, cleaned every part of brake system and still had a crap pedal but good brakes.
Swapped the LSV but never had a chance to pressure bleed before I sold it. Ali who bought it was getting it done so hopefully all is good now.
Using the handbrake will keep it adjusted properly provided everything is free to work properly.
